I write the Local Music and Local Art columns and am Managing Editor for the Santa Cruz Mountain Bulletin, a small town volunteer-run print newspaper covering Felton, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Scotts Valley, Lompico, Zayante, and surrounding locale. I am also copy editor and part of the team of reporters-at-large.

I am a professional technical writer with 18+ years experience in Silicon Valley. I specialize in writing:

Julie also plays hammered dulcimer, fiddle, bodhran, and sings with The Crooked Road Céilí Band, an American-Irish acoustic folk trio based in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Specializing in weddings, wine tastings, and special occasions in intimate acoustic settings.
