I write the Local Music and Local Art columns and am the Managing Editor for the Santa Cruz Mountain Bulletin, a small town newspaper covering Felton, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Scotts Valley, Lompico, and surrounding locale. I also edit the paper and am part of the team of reporters-at-large.

I am a professional technical writer with 18+ years experience in Silicon Valley (14+ years at Cisco Systems, 4+ years at Edgewater Networks). I specialize in creating multiple-chapter books, document conversion and cleanup, editing, marketing and descriptive writing. I am available for contract work at $54/hr. No job is too large or too small.

Julie also plays hammered dulcimer, fiddle, bodhran, and sings with The Crooked Road Céilí Band, an American-Irish acoustic folk trio based in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Specializing in weddings, wine tastings, and special occasions in intimate acoustic settings.
